FAQS

How do I clean my paintball gun?

It can be tedious and monotonous to clean a paintball gun. At the same time, this task cannot be ignored. The performance on the field as well as the overall lifespan of a gun is determined by how well it is maintained. You may burst the paintballs inside your gun barrel if you do not rinse it for a long time.

You should focus on the outside of the marker once you have detached all the parts from the inside. The external body of your gun can be polished using a squeegee. Clean the entire body with a toothbrush afterward to prevent any jamming.

It is also important to store your gun in the right manner in addition to cleaning it occasionally. You can prevent any parts from becoming damaged by storing your gun properly.

Are paintball gun barrels universal?

It is true that paintball barrels by themselves are not universal, so they may not work with all models. There won’t be any compatibility between a paintball gun and a barrel if they have different thread types.  Although it is not possible to use any barrel with any paintball gun, it is possible to obtain a thread adapter that will let you do so.

How does a paintball gun work?

When a paintball gun is fired, a small bolt pushes a ball into the paintball gun barrel and simultaneously seals the ball inside. The ball is then forced to exit the barrel by a valve that releases compressed gas.

Do paintball guns hurt?

When you are hit by a paintball, it is hard not to notice it. There is often a slight sting as if someone flicked your arm hard. Usually, the pain is mild and quickly disappears. Although most paintball hits are insignificant, they can cause welts and bruises.

What paintball guns do pro players use?

Paintball is a professional sport that requires professional gear! World’s best paintball players use the world’s best paintball guns! Pro paintball players demand a paintball gun that can perform at the highest level, shoot immediately and work well! Finding out what paintball guns pros use would help you find one like that. Following are the paintball guns which pro players use:

  1. Luxe X
  2. Field One Force
  3. Dye M3+
  4. Eclipse LV1.6
  5. Eclipse CS2 Pro

How far can a paintball gun shoot?

Paintball guns have varying ranges depending on the paint and what your opponents are wearing (softer clothing does prevent paintballs from breaking), but generally have a range of 26 to 33 yards.

Which paintball gun is the most accurate?

Whether you are a speed player who enjoys getting down and dirty, or you’re a steady shooter who relies on the accuracy of your gun to mark your target, the bottom line is that you need an accurate paintball gun on your side. Following are the most accurate paintball guns:

  1. Planet Eclipse ETEK5
  2. Tippmann X7
  3. Empire BT Dfender
  4. D3FY Sports D3S
  5. Empire Axe

How much do paintball guns cost?

A cheap marker can cost as little as $100, while a high-end one can cost as much as $2,000. Now that’s a lot of money! You may wonder why a $2000 marker costs so much. It has mostly to do with the quality and brand of the marker.

Prestige brands are obviously more expensive than less prestigious ones. There are exceptions to this, however. It is true that there are companies that offer midrange markers at affordable prices.

Can paintball guns be used for self-defence?

Yes, for sure! You can use paintball markers to protect your family, property, and home during these difficult times. You could also use these guns as self-defense if you played paintball while holding one of these guns.

What PSI do paintball guns use?

Depending on the marker, the optimal input pressure can range from 300 to 1200 psi. In many higher-end electronic markers with internal air lines, very low pressure is required. In particular, automags work well at extreme pressures. The pressure range is generally between 400 and 800 psi for most mainstream, non-internally routed markers, but you should always verify this with the manufacturer.

How long do paintball guns last?

Paintball guns should last for as long as you maintain them properly. It is possible that you may not be able to play paintball in 10-20 years, or it may be a whole different sport altogether. You may have an obsolete gun, but I highly doubt this is true. It’s rapidly becoming hard for a $200 gun to compete against an $800 gun, the line between the two becoming thinner and thinner.
