The FT-12 Rental marker is a new generation of rental paintball weapons. Tippmann is the absolute leader in rolling markers and the new generation should further strengthen its position in this most massive paintball niche. The FT-12 clamshell claims to be the easiest-to-maintain marker that can be disassembled and cleaned in less than a minute in the field, without the need for tools.
The new marker is not only easy to maintain, it is much more compact and more ergonomic than its predecessor, the T-98. The breech is located at the top, which is much more hygienic – there is less sand and dirt in the marker. The trigger travel is reduced and it is almost 4 cm long; internal gas line and no macro lines. The look can be safely added to the merits of the new marker. The 2-year manufacturer’s warranty means that this paintball marker is just as reliable as its predecessor, the T-98.

Different from its previous model; reinforced body; new bolt group and quick access to the bolt group. The trigger for one finger, fuse as on conventional mechanics. When the trigger is pulled, the rear of the trigger moves the stem at the top of the guard, which in turn transmits the pull to the triplet. Yes, the same trivia, which is in cockers.
By the way, the return spring, as already appeared owners of the marker assure, has a tensile force of only 400 grams, against almost 3 kilograms of the “rolling” mechanics (Spider-clones and Tippmann), so the trigger is very soft and has smoothness and informational content …
Everything is as simple as ever. The usual bolt group from “SP-1 / Vibe” migrated here through patents from “Smart Parts”. And here is the trivia itself. This is a regular solenoid. Only it does not have an induction coil, and, accordingly, it does not need a board or a battery. The movement of the inner piston, bypassing compressed air, is carried out by a rod in the upper part of the guard, which has already been written about a little above. The reverse movement of the piston is carried out by the pneumatics itself, rather than by the action of an additional spring.

A special feature of the maker is that it works with an inlet pressure of 250 – 900 psi.
Planet Eclipse has also developed its own shoulder rest for this model with the PWR-Stock, which encloses the air system at the ASA and holds every standard 0.2 to 0.25L HP bottle with an outer diameter of 50mm. The PWR pole is available as an accessory for this model.

Initially, the Planet Eclipse Company was engaged in the production of high-end sports paintball rifles. Having won a place in the market, it began to produce budget models of markers. At first, it was a simplified copy of the Ego – a mid-range Etek marker. Then there was Planet Eclipse ETHA – the budget marker.
During the development of the Planet Eclipse Ego marker, manufacturers set the goal of obtaining a rifle of sporting quality at an affordable price. Therefore, we used similar materials (aluminum for the body, nylon, and fiberglass for the grip) and standardized parts for the sports markers. To reduce the cost of the rifle, the body design and internal structural elements were simplified.
